    Actors: let’s talk about your brand! We can create your very own custom look-book with advice on wardrobe, makeup, characters, and performer comps. You’ll receive a detailed PDF breakdown with all the above information.

    So when you walk into your next headshot audition, agency meeting, or casting, you’ll feel confident, prepared, and exceptionally bookable.

    A) Includes a live phone or video consultation. You’ll have our undivided attention for 1 hour! ☺

    B) Alternatively, we can offer remote consultations—at a reduced rate—based on your current headshots, resume, and reels.

  • Every “look” corresponds to an outfit change. This includes:

    -Adding/removing wardrobe items (e.g., jacket, sweater, shirt, etc.).

    -Changing your hair and makeup.

    -Shaving facial hair.

  • NEED TO REVISE:

    Please allow 1-week to receive images. Please note that sessions with 6 or more looks may require up to 10 days for delivery.

    High resolution online gallery sent to proof and download all images. We do not archive. You must download your images.

  • NEED TO REVISE: Show up on time! We do not have a grace period.

    If you are doing your hair and makeup at home, please come hair and makeup ready so we can maximize your shooting time.

    Let’s listen to some music. Bring a playlist! This is your day, we get how stressful it can be.

    Unsure of what wardrobe to bring? Please bring as many options as you can. We push for an emphasis on layers, no logos, and please steer clear of busy patterns. Each shoot includes 5-10 minutes of pre-shoot wardrobe planning. If you'd like more time to plan out looks, please add an additional 30 minutes.

    Gentlemen! Please, make sure you come with your skin exfoliated, moisturized, and we highly suggest - at minimum - a light BB Cream.

  • NEED TO REVISE (copied from Huebner): A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to complete your scheduled appointment. You will receive a Venmo/PayPal link within a couple hours of booking your session. If you fail to pay your deposit within 48 hours, your spot will not be secured and will be offered to other potential clients. The remainder of the session fee is due the day of the shoot via Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, check or cash.

  • NEED TO REVISE (copied from Huebner): Cancellations made 3-7 Business days before your shoot: Your deposit may only be transferred to a new shoot day.

    Cancellations made under 3 business days before your scheduled appointment time: Your deposit will be forfeited.

    A new deposit is required to re-book.

    *The only exception for a refund is if SMOLDER needs to reschedule. We reserve the right to refuse to work with anyone who does not respect our time and efforts to serve all of our clients fairly.*

  • NEED TO REVISE: The mini session fee includes 2 high resolution edits, the full session includes 4 high resolution edits and the shared session includes 3 high resolution edits each. When editing, we are focused on making sure your photos POP in the thumbnail version as this is what most industry professionals see.

    When it comes to the face, we do minimal retouching--we believe you are beautiful as you are--therefore, we will remove blemishes but will not remove your laugh lines/crows feet/etc.

    Each additional edit after the amount included in your shoot is $15/photo.

    We currently have a high volume of edit requests so turn around time is 5-7 business days!*

    *If you're in a rush, there will be an additional fee per photo for a quicker turnaround time.

  • NEED TO REVISE: We suggest you discuss with your agent/manager to know the looks you need prior to coming. It's best to come as organized as possible so we spend less time picking outfits and more time shooting.

    If you need assistance in styling, we have a couple wonderful stylists who have helped clients make the most out of their session! Inquire in the contact box for their info.

  • NEED TO REVISE: *We have a list of reccomended MUA's that we love, however, you will have to coordinate scheduling them on your own. We no longer have the space or time to accommodate makeup application prior to your session. Please ask for our list of MUA's when booking!

    If you do decide to hire a MUA, please meet prior to your shoot and have your first look makeup done. You are welcome to bring the MUA along to freshen you up during the shoot but we've found it's best to start shooting shortly after you arrive to make the most out of your session.

  • Minors must be accompanied by a guardian. Including actors who are Legal 18.

  • NEED TO REVISE: We pride ourselves on creating an environment that is fun and relaxed and will result in the most natural headshots. With that in mind, all headshot shoots are closed sessions to individuals other than the client. All minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
